Question #1 - What is a market analysis?

Simply put, a market analysis compares your home to other homes that are currently on the market, ones that are currently under contract, and homes that have recently been sold.

Most of this information is relatively easy to get, but to get an accurate and complete market analysis you should make sure you consult:

• someone with knowledge about your local real estate market
• someone who understands the different pricing strategies people use to buy and sell homes in your market area
• someone who understands the selling process and will provide you with reliable, accurate information you can understand.
